Adison K. and Ashley H. Cormier of Jennings announce the birth of their daughter,

Avery Laine Cormier

, born Aug. 29, 2013, at Jennings American Legion Hospital.

Mrs. Cormier is the former Ashley Hayden of Eunice.

Avery weighed seven pounds, 11 ounces at birth and was 20 1/2 inches long.

Maternal grandparents are James and Judith Hayden of Eunice.

Paternal grandparents are Kenneth W. and Kimberly B. Cormier of Jennings.

Great-grandparents are Gertie Manuel of Basile and the late Elden Manuel, the late Marie Hayden Landry and the late Gervis Hayden, Elaine Babineaux of Jennings and the late Curris Babineaux and the late Lionel and the late Rose Cormier.

Godparents are Carson Watson and Hilary Cormier, both of Jennings.
