DOTD breaks ground on La. 97 expansion project

On Wednesday, the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) held a groundbreaking ceremony to kick off the La. 97 improvement project in Jennings.
The $4.4 million project involves a one-mile section of La. 97 between La. 102 and I-10.

John E. Guinn, project manager Adam Breaux, Dist. B City Councilman Johnny Armentor and Dist. A City Councilman Rogeous Lawdins were all on hand Wednesday for the groundbreaking of the state’s project that will widen and make improvements to a one-mile stretch of La. 97 in Jennings.
