JDSO to conduct sobriety checkpoints

The Jeff Davis Parish Sheriff’s Office will be conducting sobriety checkpoints at several undisclosed locations throughout the parish on Saturday, Feb. 9, in order to crack down on drivers impaired by drugs and alcohol.

Law enforcement officials with the JDSO, as well as Jennings Police and Louisiana State Troopers have all resported an increase in reported for the holiday weekend.
