Lacassine student charged with drug possession

LACASSINE – A Lacassine High School (LHS) student was arrested Wednesday after sheriff’s deputies found drugs in his possession in a drug-free zone.
According to Jeff Davis Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division Commander Christopher Ivey, deputies were summoned Wednesday to LHS to investigate a complaint of a student in possession of drugs on the campus.
