The Jennings Lions Club will team up with hundreds of local volunteers next month to host the annual Lions Club Auction, its largest fundraiser, bringing in over $10,000 each year for charity.
Lions Auction Chairman Christina Mehal said this week that the club is gearing up for another successful year, with over 150 items already on hand with at least 15 “big ticket” items.

Some of the “big ticket” items up for auction include a one-of-a-kind handcrafted antique pine top table with purple heart legs and an antique pine coat hanger donated by D.H. Builds, LLC. Also, a set of etched bulldog glasses with pitcher, along with handmade blankets and purses and more will be awarded to the highest bidder to raise funds for the La. Lions Crippled Children’s Camp, as well as the many projects undertaken throughout the year by the Jennings Lions Club.
