Marie Cupp
LACASSINE – Marie “Margie” Cupp, 81, passed away Monday, Feb. 25, 2013, in a local care center.
Her service will be held on Thursday, Feb. 28, 2013, at 11 a.m. at St. John Vianney Catholic Church. Father Emanuel Tanu will officiate. Visitation will begin today, Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2013, from 2:30-9 p.m. with a scripture service at 6:30 p.m. and a rosary at 7 p.m., and will resume Thursday, Feb. 28, 2013, from 8 a.m. until time of services. She was a member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Bell City where she was in the choir. Her former employers were General Telephone Co. and Lacassine High School cafeteria. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She is survived by her sons, Glenn J. (Alice) LeBlanc of Hayes; Michael R. (Sarah) Cupp of Houston; her daughter, Deanna Norris of Pineville; her brother, Wilfred “T-Boy” Ardoin; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald M. Cupp; her parents, Asa and Rose Ardoin; a brother, A.J. Ardoin; and two sisters, Velma Trahan and Shirley Beffano.
Mrs. Cupp left this message: “My love goes to Ronnie whom I loved so much and my children whom I love and all my grandchildren and great-grandchildren whom are all so special in my life. God Speed – See Ya – Mom/Margie”
