Mrs. Norma J. Abraham
Funeral services for Mrs. Norma J. Abraham, 73, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013, in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. Father Celcius Offor will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery under direction of Semien-Lewis Mortuary of Jennings.
Visitation will be Friday, February 22, 2013, from 5-9 p.m. in the Semien-Lewis Mortuary Church Chapel. A rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m. in the chapel.
Mrs. Abraham entered into eternal rest Friday, Feb. 15, 2013, in a Lafayette Hospital.
She was a native of Parks and lived in Jennings most of her life. She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, the Red Hat Society, a Eucharistic Minister and a retired Foster Grandparent.
Survivors include five daughters, Anquetta (Clarence) Jolivette of Lake Charles, Germaine (Dolan) Leveen of Phoenix, Ariz., Daphne Henderson of Worester, Mass., Melba (Lawrence) Guillory of Iowa, and Yolanda Victorian of Jennings; two sons, Frederick (Laticia) Abraham and Patrick (Michelle) Abraham, both of Jennings; two sisters, Zelmae (Rufus) Coleman of Omaha, Neb., and Gerridette Ebow of Parks; 25 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
