Peterson announces bid for mayor

Marcus O. Peterson, of Jennings, recently announced his candidacy for the race for Mayor of the City of Jennings set for April 6.

Peterson qualified with the Secretary of State’s Office as a Democrat on Feb. 13. The following is an announcement submitted by Peterson:
