Rebel win forces tiebreaker game

MIDLAND – The Midland Rebels claimed their share of the District 7-B title with a victory over the Lacassine Cardinals 68-50 to force a tiebreaker game on Wednesday night.  The Lacassine Lady Cardinals finished a perfect District 7-B season with a 65-31 victory over the Midland Lady Rebels.

Midland will now face Hathaway on Wednesday night at Jennings High School at 6:30 p.m. to break the first-place tie.  All the teams will continue to the playoffs next week as the girls start on Monday night, followed by the boys on Tuesday.
