Retired State Employee Association to host meeting

The annual meeting of the Lake Charles Chapter of the Retired State Employees Association will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, March 12 at the Lake Charles Civic Center Contraband Room located at 900 Lakeshore Drive. Chapter President Gwendolyn Thompson will introduce state officers and board members attending this year’s Lake Charles area meeting. Also, representatives from Louisiana State Employees’ Retirement System, the Office of Group Benefits and Great-West Retirement Services will be on-hand to answer questions. Current and future state retirees in Jeff Davis, Allen, Beauregard, Calcasieu and Cameron parishes are encouraged to attend and bring one non-perishable food item to donate to a local food bank.
