Shirley Anne Crader

The family and friends of Shirley Anne Crader are mourning the loss of their loved one who was called to her Heavenly Father on Feb. 27, 2013, at the age of 76.

Funeral services will be held to honor her life on Friday, March 1, 2013, at 11 a.m. at Matthews and Son Funeral Home in Jennings. She will be laid to rest in Andrus Cove Cemetery with Deacon Tom Sommers officiating.

A gathering of Shirley’s family and friends will be held today, Thursday, Feb. 28, 2013, from 2:30-9 p.m. with a rosary recited at 7 p.m. at Matthews and Son Funeral Home in Jennings. Visiting hours will resume on Friday, March 1, 2013, at 8 a.m. until the time of her funeral services.

Shirley Anne was a lifelong resident of Mermentau and born to the late Ellis Crader and the late Lea Bonin Crader on Feb. 12, 1937. She worked as a welder until her health began to fail. She enjoyed watching television.

Shirley is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Geraldine and Courtney Dupuis of Estherwood; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
