Tressa Nicole Benoit Hoffpauir
The family and friends of Tressa Nicole Benoit Hoffpauir are grieving for their loss.
Tressa was called to her Heavenly Father on Monday, Feb. 18, 2013, from injuries sustained from an auto accident at the age of 25.
Funeral services will be held in her honor on Friday, Feb. 22, 2013, at 10 a.m. at Matthews and Son Funeral Home in Jennings. Tressa will be laid to rest in Calvary Cemetery following her service.
Visitation will be held today, Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2013, from 2:30-10 p.m.; on Thursday, Feb. 21 from 8 a.m. until 10 p.m., with a rosary recited at 7 p.m.; and on Friday, Feb. 22 from 8 a.m. until the time of her services at Matthews and Son Funeral Home in Jennings.
Tressa Nicole was born in Jennings to Curtis Benoit and Myra Istre on April 28, 1987. She was a homemaker and loved spending time with her two beautiful children and her husband. Tressa enjoyed cooking and visiting with her favorite nanny, Shelly Benoit, and her godchild, Reanna Benoit. She had a terrific smile and a warm, caring heart. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her.
Tressa is survived by her husband, Shannon James Hoffpauir; her two beautiful sons, Bryson Keith Abshire and Slaiden Blaze Hoffpauir, all of Welsh; her mother and stepfather, Myra and Christopher Geheb of Welsh; her father and stepmother, Curtis and Katina Benoit of Jennings; her in-laws, Eddie Hoffpauir of Sherpard, Texas, and Selena Hoffpauir of Jennings; her grandparents, Francis and Clara Benoit of Jennings, Wilson Istre of Lake Arthur, Daniel and Dianna Hebert Guidry of Jennings, and Alvin and Frances Geheb of Lake Charles; four brothers, Dillion Scott Crochet of Welsh, Cade Benoit and Blade Benoit, both of Jennings, and Nicolis Petry of Katy, Texas; her sister, Shandelynn Benoit of Jennings; her godhildren, Reanna Benoit, Jayden Istre and Ava Adams; and her nephew, Emerson, of Jennings.
Tressa now rests in Heaven with her beloved family who preceded her in death: her sister, Olivia Benoit; her great-grandparents, Lillian and Percy Trahan, Gladys Lyons Dugas, Annis John Hebert, Pierre and Ina Benoit and Mary Domingue; and her first cousin, Cayden Courville.
