WPD chief seeks policy change, announces plans for evidence room

WELSH – The police chief here is hoping the legislature will give his office further authority in disciplining employees.
Welsh Police Department (WPD) Chief Marcus Crochet said having that authority would ease most of the police concerns that have to wait for aldermen approval.
