Black History Program Held at JHS
On Friday afternoon, Jennings High School (JHS) held its annual Black History Program for the student body to honor the accomplishments of African Americans over history. Mother and son DeShane Jack and Caleb Allen brought the audience to tears with an A cappella performance of the song “Take Me to the King.” JHS students Tia Pattum, Ta’kia Pattum, KeIvy Williams and Janae Charles performed a dance to Whitney Houston’s “I Wanna Dance with Somebody.”
