The Jennings Bulldogs held off a pesky Welsh Greyhounds baseball team in taking a 10-4 victory.  The win improves the Bulldogs’ record to 7-7 on the season.  Jennings will return to action on Saturday in the Iowa Tournament where they will face Kinder at 12:30 p.m. and Menard at 3 p.m.

“It’s a good win for us and Welsh is a good team,” said Jennings Coach Jason Flanagan.  “Welsh has been playing good baseball and has played some really tough opponents the last few weeks. It’s really good to play other teams in the parish.  Our kids came out focused and hit the ball well, and ran the bases well and limited the mental mistakes.”
