Daniel, Compton announce wedding plans
Shellie Renee’ Daniel of Welsh and Robert “Roby” Turner Compton of Roanoke announce their plans to wed at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, May 4, 2013, at Our Lady Help of Christian Catholic Church in Jennings.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul (Melissa) Daniel of Welsh and is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Shelton (Brenda) Daniel of Welsh and Mr. and Mrs. Wilbert (Iola) Marks of Opelousas.
A 2010 graduate of Welsh High School and a 2012 graduate of Delta Tech, she is currently employed as a medical assistant for Dr. Armand Grimshaw.
The prospective groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. William “Bill” (Beth) Compton and is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence (Barbara) Theriot of Bell City and Mrs. Mildred Compton of Roanoke.
A 2007 graduate of Welsh High School and a 2010 graduate of Sowela Technical Community College, he is a farmer.
