Diamond Dogs finish 2-1 at Baseball Classic

Bulldog fans were treated to a weekend of exciting baseball at Bulldog Stadium, as solid defense and consistent offense by Jennings helped them earn a 2-1 overall finish at their own Jeff Davis Bank/JHS Baseball Classic.
Jennings opened the tournament Thursday by falling to Mamou in their first contest, 12-10, but rallied by recording a nail-biting win over Sacred Heart Friday by a 3-2 count.
The Dogs took on Rayne in the closing contest and secured another tough win, 5-2.
