Earnise Eve Fontenot Minnix
WELSH – Graveside services for Mrs. Earnise Eve Fontenot Minnix, 96, will be held at 3 p.m. today, Sunday, March 17, 2013, in the Oaklawn Cemetery in Welsh under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home of Jennings. Rev. Kristi Prejean will officiate.
Mrs. Minnix died at 11:45 p.m. Friday, March 15, 2013, in Camelot Brookside Nursing Home in Jennings.
She was a native of Evangeline and a resident of Roanoke for many years. She was a member of the Roanoke Church of the Bretheren.
She is survived by one sister, Belva Burger of Jennings.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Celestine Daigle Fontenot; her husband, Neal Minnix; one son, Murrell Minnix; four sisters, Verna Fontenot, Bertha Gruver, Verui Netiermayer and Rena Guidry; and two brothers, Steven and Mafton Fontenot.
