Elton man accused of theft of livestock, criminal trespassing

ELTON – An Elton man was arrested Wednesday for stealing livestock and hunting illegally on leased property.
According to Jeff Davis Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Commander Christopher Ivey, Duane Jones, 47, of 5145 Doise Rd. in Elton, was arrested and booked into the parish jail and charged with theft of livestock and criminal trespassing.
