Jennings mother facing charges

A local woman is facing charges after investigators claimed she was an accessory to a sex offender who failed to register and report his status.
According to Jeff Davis Sheriff’s Office (JDSO) Criminal Investigation Commander Christopher Ivey, on Friday, JDSO detectives arrested Nichole Lantz, 20, at her home at 806 Gallup Street in Jennings for accessory to failure to register and report as a sex offender, obstruction of justice and improper supervision of a juvenile.
