JHS diamond teams drop Tuesday contests

The Jennings Lady Bulldogs hosted Notre Dame Tuesday to open district play for the 2013 softball season, but couldn’t muster up enough offense to put points on the scoreboard.
Visiting Notre Dame easily claimed the 21-0 win to open 4-3A action. The Lady Dogs dropped their ninth straight in what Lady Dog Head Coach James Estes says is a rebuilding year for his team after losing six four-year starters to graduation last season.
