Lake Charles men charged for stealing crawfish

Four Lake Charles men were arrested Thursday morning after sheriff’s deputies caught them with stolen live crawfish.
According to Jeff Davis Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Commander Christopher Ivey, deputies on patrol discovered four subjects on Compton Road in Roanoke parked in a vehicle with no lights. Deputies recovered a plastic tub that contained approximately 85 pounds of live crawfish.
Elliott Clark III, 31, of 6765 U.S. 90 East; Isaiah Clark, 27, of 4029 Fourden Street; Randall Clark, 23, of 2423 12th Street; and Donald Watson Jr., 24, of 6765 U.S. 90 East, all of Lake Charles, were arrested and charged with theft of crawfish and booked into the parish jail, Ivey said. Bond was set at $10,000 each.
