Local agency offers emergency food assistance

A local agency is offering a helping hand to those that may be struggling to put food on the table due to a recent setback.
According to Emergency Shelter/Services Specialist Edna Semar, the ASSIST Agency in Jennings has food assistance available in Jeff Davis Parish for those who have had a recent emergency and are struggling to make ends meet.
