Local Bands Hold Concert
On Tuesday, the Jennings High School (JHS) band, Lake Arthur High School band, Welsh High School band, and McNeese State University’s Jazz Big Band, Community Clarinet Choir and Double Reed Ensemble performed a live concert for the public in the JHS Cafetorium. JHS Band Director Mack Golden said the concert provides an opportunity each year for high school band students to perform before an audience before the spring competition season.
