Six people were reported as booked into the parish jail by the Jeff Davis Parish Sheriff’s Office over the last week.

Friday, March 8

Ollie Joseph Hawkins Jr., 42, of Jennings, was charged with possession of a Schedule II narcotic, possession of drug paraphernalia and open container. No bond was listed.

Derick Lee Crochet, 25, of Lake Arthur, was charged with simple battery, simple criminal damage to property and public intoxication. No bond was listed.

Saturday, March 9

Weston Benoit, 25, of Jennings, was charged with possession of a Schedule IV narcotic, driving under suspension, improper display, possession of marijuana, a third-offense DWI and expired tag. No bond was listed.

Richard Crochet Jr., 46, of Jennings, was charged with possession of a Schedule IV narcotic. No bond was listed.

Monday, March 11

David Morgan, 31, of Iowa, was charged with theft. No bond was listed.

Tuesday, March 12

Kacey L. Pierre, 28, of Jennings, was charged with illegal use of a controlled dangerous substance in the presence of a minor, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving left of center and possession of with intent to distribute a controlled dangerous substance. No bond was listed.

City Police

Sixteen people were booked into the city jail by the Jennings Police Department over the last week.

Friday, March 8

Matthew James Cormier, 41, of La. 102 in Jennings, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. Subject was released with a summons.

Ollie Joseph Hawkins Jr., 43, of South Broadway Street in Jennings, was charged with open alcohol container in vehicle, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a Schedule II narcotic. No bond was listed.

Westin Jared Benoit, 25, of Bluff Loops in Jennings, was charged with third offense driving while intoxicated, driving under suspension, possession of a Schedule I non-narcotic, possession of a Schedule IV drug, display plate and renewal registration. No bond was listed.

Richard Lee Crochet Jr., 46, of North Frontage Road in Jennings, was charged with possession of a Schedule IV narcotic. No bond was listed.

Sunday, March 10

Kristopher Lemaire, 22, of Eleventh Street in Jennings, was charged with driving under suspension and improper control of vehicle. Subject was released with a summons.

Samantha Sue Ann Marquez, 25, of Sheraton Street in Jennings, was arrested on a warrant. No bond was listed.

Monday, March 11

Christopher Gordon, 31, of Granger Street in Jennings, was charged with theft. Subject was released with a summons.

Alex B. Bradley, 20, of Granger Street in Jennings, was charged with theft. Subject was released with a summons.

Tyson Tavon Mouton, 27, of Orange Street in Jennings, was charged with possession of marijuana. No bond was listed.

Paul Charles, 20, of North Church Street in Jennings, was charged with driving under suspension, liability security required and owner vehicle registration. Subject was released with a summons.

Thursday, March 14

Lance Sentil Prater, 33, of Eighth Street in Lake Arthur, was charged with second degree robbery and credit card use over $500. No bond was listed.

Tiffany Raquel Gordon, 32, of Orange Street in Jennings, was charged with disturbing the peace by cursing. No bond was listed.

Brandon L. Blouin, 28, of North State Street in Jennings, was charged with domestic abuse battery. No bond was listed.
