Shoplifter wanted for macing store employee

A woman who attempted to shoplift $500 in clothes from the local Walmart this week is wanted for attempted armed robbery after she assaulted one of the store’s managers with pepper spray.
Jennings Police Department (JPD) Deputy Chief Danny Semmes said the suspect, who has not yet been identified, went into the Jennings Walmart around 3:30 p.m. Thursday and tried to leave the store with stolen clothes.
