Tigers win title at Lacassine Relays

WELSH – The Lake Arthur Tigers and the Anacoco Lady Indians were the team winners of the Lacassine Cardinals Relays held at Welsh High School Friday.
The Lake Arthur Tigers won the boys’ division with 99 points, followed by the Midland Rebels in second with 86 points. Other local team finishers included Welsh in sixth with 61 points; Lacassine in seventh with 57 points; and Hathaway in eighth with 35 points.
