CADA asks public to voice opposition to budget cuts

Domestic violence service providers across Louisiana have been scrambling to determine how to survive since sweeping cuts to the programs were unveiled in Governor Jindal’s Proposed budget three weeks ago.

According to Jeff Davis Communities Against Domestic Abuse (CADA) Executive Director Annette Gary, Jindal’s mid-year budget cut proposals could cost domestic violence programs another $2.4 million for the upcoming fiscal year.
