JDP ranks in top five for graduating students

Jeff Davis Parish (JDP) is ranked number five in the state for graduating students on time, while the state now boasts an all-time high of 72.3 percent of students completing high school in four years.

The cohort graduation rates (CGR) for school districts across the state were released last week. The CGR reflects the number of students who enter high school as freshmen and graduate within four years. JDP is currently ranked number five in the state, graduating 85.8 percent of first-time freshmen on time.
