The Jennings Police Department (JPD) and Jeff Davis Sheriff’s Office (JDSO) joined forces to bust four locals alleged to be dealing in meth, some who were also in possession of semi-automatic weapons.

The case first began on Thursday, April 18, when the JPD Directed Patrol Unit (DPU) received information that Brandy Braden, 32, of Jennings, was scheduled to make a drug deal at the Louisiana Oil and Gas Park. JPD Deputy Chief Danny Semmes said DPU utilized unmarked vehicles and set up surveillance in the  park while awaiting the suspect and alleged drug deal.
