Allen Parish continues with jail plans

OBERLIN (AP) – Allen Parish authorities are moving ahead with a cooperative agreement to build a new jail. The police jury and Allen Parish Law Enforcement District hope to build a 179-bed facility at a cost of $8.5 million.
