Seven people were reported as booked into the parish jail by the Jeff Davis Parish Sheriff’s Office over the last week.
Saturday, March 30
Rickie Blane Ortego, 52, of 812 Main St. in Elton, was charged with simple burglary of an inhabited dwelling. No bond was listed.
Sunday, March 31
Paul G. Broussard Jr., 45, of 209 Orange St. in Lake Arthur, was charged with pornography involving juveniles. Bond was listed at $250,000.
Monday, April 1
Cory J. Gaspard, 18, of 9432 Hemlock St. in Kaplan, was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of a Schedule IV narcotic and no seat belt. No bond was listed.
Tuesday, April 2
Vernon Haley Boudreaux, 41, of 1720 South Main St., was charged with contempt of court. Bond was denied.
Thursday, April 4
Charles Grady Daniel Jr., 51, of 712 Lucy St. in Jennings, was charged with contempt of court and possession of a Schedule II narcotic. Bond was denied on both charges.
Rollis Davis, 30, of 406 Syer St. in Jennings, was charged with contempt of court. No bond was listed.
Ariel Lann Fontenot, 19, of 518 May St. in Jennings, was charged with forgery and fraud. No bond was listed.
