Six people were reported as booked into the parish jail by the Jeff Davis Parish Sheriff’s Office over the last week.

 

Sunday, April 14

OluBunmi Onadeko Jr., 37, of Tenn., was charged with two counts of resisting an officer. No bond was listed.

 

Jacob Veronie, 20, of Jennings, was charged with possession of synthetic marijuana and reckless operation. No bond was listed.

 

Wednesday, April 17

Jimmie R. Botley, 52, of Elton, was charged with domestic battery, unauthorized entry and simple battery of the infirmed. No bond was listed.

 

Avery George, 37, of Baton Rouge, was charged with possession of a Schedule II narcotic. No bond was listed.

 

James Edwards, 32, of Jennings, was charged with blocking a driveway or highway and possession of with intent to distribute a Schedule III narcotic. No bond was listed.

 

Thursday, April 18

Lee W. Fontentot Jr., 43, of Evangeline, was charged with contempt of court. No bond was listed.

 

City Police

Twenty-seven people were booked into the city jail by the Jennings Police Department over the last week.

 

Friday, April 12

John Harvey Willridge, 50, of Delbury Lane in Jennings, was charged with domestic abuse battery. No bond was listed.

 

Jimmie L. Wilridge, 52, address unknown, was charged with failure to register as a sex offender and no sex offender ID card. No bond was listed.

 

Mary Jane Jenkins, 55, of Sayer Street in Jennings, was charged with simple battery. Subject was released with a summons.

 

Phillip Joseph Lyons, 36, of Smith Street in Jennings, was charged with unauthorized use of an access card. Subject was released with a summons.

 

Jerry Lynn Touchet, 54, of Zigler Street in Jennings, was charged with violating a general speed law and disturbing the peace by drunkenness. Subject was released with a summons.

 

Henery A. Mallet, 48, of Berken Road in Jennings, was charged with driving while intoxicated and driving on a roadway laned for traffic. Subject was released with a summons.

 

Saturday, April 13

Stevie R. Reed, 20, of Pear Road in Basile, was charged with disturbing the peace, resisting arrest by flight, interfering with state police and resisting arrest by violence. No bond was listed.

 

Gregory Earle Fontenot, 21, of 10th Street in Lake Charles, was charged with possession of Clonazepam, possession of Hydrocodone, no display plate, driving under suspension and obstruction of justice. No bond was listed.

 

Kelly Ann Hayes, 38, of Riverside Road in Jennings, was charged with forgery. No bond was listed.

 

Kristina Luquette, 45, Boyou Road in Port Barrie, was charged with disturbing the peace by drunkenness and possession of a Schedule IV narcotic. No bond was listed.

 

Ashley Ray Deshotel, 30, of Clara Street in Jennings, was charged with disturbing the peace by cursing and disturbing the peace by drunkenness. No bond was listed.

 

Leonard McClelland Jr., 38, of East Park Street in Jennings, was charged with five counts of thefts, failure to appear and an outstanding warrant. No bond was listed.
