Mrs. Britt was a loyal member of Liberty Baptist Church. She loved the Lord and served Him faithfully for many years as a Sunday school teacher. She loved singing about the Lord with her Sunday school kids in church. Her devotion to God served as a comfort to her family, knowing that she is safe and happy with Him in Heaven.
I Am Now In Heaven
“I am now in Heaven – please wipe away your tears! I’ve fought the battle, run the race – I’m rid of all my fears. There is no pain or sorrow here; the heartaches now are past; I’ve read and sung of Heaven, and now I’m here at last! Safe in the arms of Jesus”
She will be terribly missed by her children, grand- and great- grandchildren, not to mention the numerous “adopted” families that she loved so dearly. Mrs. Sally lived each day to the fullest to love and care for her family. Her presence in all of their lives will never be forgotten. “Grannery,” as she was affectionately known, will truly live on in their hearts always.
A special thanks is extended by the Britt family to Dr. Katira of Crowley and the Cardiac Rehab Facility in Jennings American Legion Hospital for the extraordinary care given to their mother.
