The Acadia Parish Sheriff’s Office (APSO) arrested two and is seeking an additional suspect who stole two all-terrain vehicles on March 29, prompting one of the owners to place a sign in her yard warning the community thieves were on the prowl.

APSO Public Information Office Maxine Trahan said Monday that Justin Dupont, 24, of Darla Lane in Jennings and Tyler Dane Stockman, 20, of Combine Road in Basile, were arrested last week. Dupont was charged with two counts of felony theft and accessory to vehicle burglary while Stockman was charged with two counts of felony theft and vehicle burglary. Judge Kristian Earles set Dupont’s bond at $140,000 while Stockman’s bond was set at $60,000.
