Cline J. LeBlanc
IOWA – Cline J. LeBlanc, 84, passed away in his home on Tuesday, May 7, 2013, surrounded by his loving family.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held in St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Lacassine on Thursday, May 9, 2013, at 1 p.m., with Father Roland Vaughn officiating. Burial will follow in St. Lawrence Cemetery in Raymond, under the direction of Johnson and Brown Funeral Home.
Visitation will begin today, Wednesday, May 8, 2013, from 2-9 p.m. with a rosary at 6:30 p.m., and will continue on Thursday, May 9, 2013, from 9 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. in the funeral home.
Cline was born in Hathaway on April 3, 1929, to Placide and Rosa (Rinquet) LeBlanc. He was employed as a truck driver for Dunham Price for over 50 years. Cline attended St. Charles Borromeo and St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. He enjoyed woodworking, farming and his crawfish pond. His family says he was a jack of all trades.
He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Carrie E. LeBlanc; a son, Daniel (Peggy) LeBlanc; a daughter, Sandra Bebee; a brother, Elridge LeBlanc; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings.
