Reed Retires From JHS

Jennings High School Assistant Principal Danny Reed was honored with a swampy send off Friday on the school’s campus. After a total of 41 years of serving in public and private schools, Reed is now enjoying retirement. Following a lunch with school faculty members and staffers, Reed was treated to a Cajun lesson on homonyms, words that share the same pronunciation or spelling but have different meanings – such as “tree” and “t’ree” (the latter being the Cajun pronunciation of the word “three”).
