LA considers pay raises for clerk, police chief

LAKE ARTHUR – The town council here will vote on pay raises for the positions of town clerk and police chief at its July meeting.

The council introduced two resolutions Wednesday that would increase the pay for town clerk by 12 percent and increase the police chief’s pay by 16 percent.
