Linda M. Quebodeaux McNeal
IOTA – It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family and friends of Linda M. Quebodeaux McNeal announces her unexpected passing on June 27, 2013, while in the comfort of her home in Iota. She was 49.
Funeral services honoring Linda’s life will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Iota on Tuesday, July 2, 2013, at 10 a.m. Linda will be laid to eternal rest in St. Joseph Cemetery following her services. Father David Broussard will officiate.
Visitation will be held at Matthews and Son Funeral Home in Jennings on Monday, July 1, 2013, from 10:30 a.m. until 9 p.m. with a rosary recited by Mrs. Betty LeGros at 6 p.m. Visiting hours will resume on Tuesday, July 2, 2013, at 8 a.m. until the time of her funeral services.
Linda M. was born in Gueydan to the late Joseph Lege and the late Marjorie Andrus Lege on Sept. 17, 1963. She was a homemaker and devoted her life to the care of her family. Linda enjoyed arts and crafts, cooking and spending time with her family and friends. She also was an animal lover and loved her cats dearly.
Linda is survived by her husband, James Carl McNeal of Iota; two sons, Travis Quebodeaux and Joe Quebodeaux, both of Crowley; one daughter, Brandy Roy of Iota; and her two beautiful grandchildren, Rachael N. Roy and Jessie D. Roy, both of Iota.
