Save on utilities without suffering

Receiving an electricity bill is fun for no one, but in Louisiana, summertime utility costs are enough to reduce residents to tears – and sweat.

Just last week, Welsh residents learned they could expect to see increased power rates reflected in August utility bills. For the first time in 10 years, officials opted to bump rates by $5 per kilowatt-hour (kWh) to offset costs the town incurs by purchasing then selling power to residents.
