The family and friends of Lovonia Ann Soileau Dyke are mourning the loss of their loved one who passed away during the morning hours on July 3, 2013, at the age of 45.

Funeral services honoring Lovonia’s life will be held at Matthews and Son Funeral Home in Jennings on Sunday, July 7, 2013, at 2 p.m. Lovonia will be laid to eternal rest in Andrus Cove Cemetery. Deacon Mike Tramel will officiate.

A gathering of Lovonia’s family and friends will be held at Matthews and Son Funeral Home in Jennings on Saturday, July 6, 2013, from 3-9 p.m. Visitation will resume on Sunday at 8 a.m. until the time of her funeral services at 2 p.m.

Lovonia was born in Lake Charles to Robert and Annette Soileau on October 14, 1967. Lovonia loved tending to her flowers, eating crawfish and she loved helping her family in any way she could.

Lovonia is survived by her husband, Curtis Dyke of Welsh; one son, Joshua Soileau of Lake Arthur; two daughters, Haley Victoria Dyke and Madison S. Dyke of Welsh; one stepson, Barry Doucet of Evangeline; and one stepdaughter, Tanya McInnis of Sulphur; her parents, father Robert Soileau, and mother, Annette Soileau; two brothers, Danny Ray Soileau of Eunice, and Terry James Soileau of Welsh; two sisters, Debra Ann Soileau Maris and Rachel Lynn Soileau Carlin, both of Jennings; and one step-grandson, Joshua McInnis.

Carrying Lovonia to her final resting place in Andrus Cove Cemetery will be Michael Doucet, Howard Dyke, Michael Maris, Blake Fisher, Clint Dyke And Seth Dyke.

Honorary pallbears will be Ryan Fredrick and Randel Carlin
