Morrish discusses legislative session at Kiwanis

On Wednesday, Sen. Dan “Blade” Morrish spoke to the Jennings Kiwanis Club to further detail what took place during this year’s legislative session.

Morrish spoke about the last senate session and Gov. Bobby Jindal’s budget plans. The senator touched on Louisiana’s funds deficit, saying, “There are really only two things you can do in a deficit: raise taxes or make cuts – and we are not going to raise taxes.”
