Officials crack down on illegal alcohol, tobacco sales

The Louisiana Office of Alcohol and Tobacco Control (ATC) is working with area law enforcement agencies to crack down on unlawful sales of alcohol and tobacco to minors.

ATC Commissioner Troy Hebert said that his agency will conduct an increased number of random compliance checks at alcoholic beverage and tobacco retail outlets throughout the summer months, and the Jennings Police Department is doing its part here at home.
