As the summer heats up, it’s easy to forget that the vegetable growing season is still in. Tomatoes, cucumbers, squash, eggplant, okra, basil, and more are slowing down with the heat, but are still coming out of the fields. These items and more can be found at local farmer’s markets that are still growing strong each week.

Main Street Farmer’s Market

The Main Street Farmer’s Market is held every Saturday 7-10 a.m. at Founders Park on the corner of Main and Nezpique streets in downtown Jennings.
