Career criminal arrested again

Assistant Editor

A career criminal is back behind bars and being held on a probation and parole violation – again – after allegedly taking about $100 in items from a truck at a local business.

Jennings Police Department (JPD) Deputy Chief Danny Semmes said officers were dispatched to the WalMart parking lot on Sept. 8 after a caller complained a man was removing items from the back of a truck and putting them into his own vehicle. As police were en route, they were advised the suspect, later identified as Clint M. Stewart, 42, of Jennings, was leaving the scene. Officers later located Stewart in a black Toyota truck on south La. 26.
