PLAQUEMINE – The Jennings Bulldogs traveled to Plaquemine Friday night to battle the no. 6 ranked Green Devils of class 4-A. For the fourth consecutive week, the Dogs kept their fans on the edge of their seats. The two teams combined for 27 fourth quarter points with the game going down to the final minute. The Dogs fought tooth and nail with their host before falling 28-26 when their onside kick did not go their way.

The visitors drew first blood after taking advantage of a Malik Williams interception of a Green Devil aerial. The Dogs marched 53 yards in eight plays to grab an early lead. Lemontay Mouton capped the drive with a 27-yard sprint into the endzone. Seth Cox kicked the point after to give Jennings a 7-0 lead on the second play of the second quarter.
