Five suspects arrested in rash of hotel burglaries

Five suspects were arrested in Sulphur this week on 16 counts of simple burglary, and are believed to be responsible for a rash of vehicle burglaries in Jennings, as well.
“On Aug. 24, four vehicles were burglarized at the Hampton Inn in Jennings,” reported Jennings Police Department (JPD) Deputy Chief Danny Semmes. “We obtained video surveillance of the vehicle, and the suspect or suspects were believed to be from another area.”
