ELTON – Funeral services for Pat Bruchhaus, 78, will be held Monday, September 16, 2013 at 10 a.m. at Ardoin Funeral Home of Elton. Rev. Steve Bellard will officiate.
Burial will follow in China Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home of Elton.
The family will receive visitors today, Sunday, September 15, 2013, at the funeral home from 4-9 p.m. Visitation will continue on Monday, September 16, from 8 a.m. until the time of service.
Pat was a lifelong resident of Elton. She was a 1953 graduate of Basile High School, devoted wife of more than 58 years and a loving mother and grandmother. She was active in the Methodist Church and scouting for many years. She was a great cook and known for her famous fried chicken.
Survivors include her devoted husband, Harley, of Elton; three sons, Charles and Deborah of Elton, Kurt and Cindy of Lake Charles and Brett and Bridgett of Elton; one daughter, Uvonne Domingue and Leo of Jennings; 11 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren
Pat was preceded in death by her parents, W.R. and Emma Peterson, and her sister, Brenda Weldon.
