Fifteen people have been booked into the parish jail by the Jeff Davis Parish Sheriff’s Office in the last week.

 

Friday, September 6

Ruben Guevara, 29, was arrested on a warrant. No bond was listed.

 

Michael Shannon Miller, 41, was arrested on a warrant. No bond was listed.

 

Saturday, September 7

Shannon James Hoffpauir, 32, was charged with driving while intoxicated, failure to maintain control and unlicensed driver. Bond was denied.

 

Cornelius Alton Sonnier, 37, was charged with illegal possession of stolen things. No bond was listed.

 

Sunday, September 8

Jason Potter, 34, was charged with simple battery by domestic abuse, resisting arrest, simple criminal damage to property and careless operation. Bond was set at $20,000.

 

Monday, September 9

Marshall Joseph Alexander, Jr., 52, was charged with theft and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond was denied.

 

Kyle Joseph Faul, 27, was charged with telephone harassment and contempt of court. Bond was denied.

 

Dylan Fontenot, 22, was arrested on a warrant. Bond was set at $40,000.

 

Zachery Levi, 27, was charged with a probation violation. Bond was denied.

 

Tuesday, September 10

Kristina Ann Guidry, 29, was charged with distribution of Schedule III narcotics and criminal conspiracy. Bond was set at $40,000.

 

Joseph Oliver, Jr., 26, was charged with simple rape. Bond was set at $500,000.

 

Wednesday, September 11

Nicholas Anderson, 20, was charged with illegal carrying of weapons, possession of drug paraphernalia, distribution of a Schedule II narcotic, possession of a Schedule I narcotic with intent to distribute, distribution of Schedule I narcotics and improper turn at intersection. Bond was set at $75,000.

 

Tanisha James, 19, was charged with two counts of illegal carrying of weapons, introducing contraband into a jail, possession of drug paraphernalia, distribution of a Schedule II narcotic and two counts of distribution of a Schedule I narcotic. Bond was set at $100,000.

 

Thursday, September 12

Emily Credeur, 28, was charged with issuing worthless checks. No bond was listed.

 

Friday, September 13

Brandon James Landry, 39, was charged with burnt tail light, distribution of marijuana, possession of crack cocaine and distribution of a Schedule IV narcotic. No bond was listed.

 

 

City Police

Thirteen people have been booked into the city jail by the Jennings Police Department in the last week.

 

Saturday, September 7

Randy Ray Lavergne, 36, of Second Street in Jennings, was charged with modified exhaust system, possession of drug paraphernalia, second offense possession of marijuana, and three counts of possession with intent to distribute a Schedule II narcotic.

 

Rayford Joseph Dartez, Sr., 55, of East Spencer Street in Jennings, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana and possession with intent to distribute a Schedule II narcotic.

 

Tanya Renee Dartez, 30, of Second Street in Jennings, was charged with illegal use of a controlled dangerous substance in the presence of a minor, possession of drug paraphernalia and two counts of possession with intent to distribute a Schedule II narcotic.

 

Teresa Ryan, 51, of South Craig Street in Jennings, was charged with amplified devices in a public place. Subject was issued a summons.

 

Coy Thomas, Jr., 31, of South Broadway Street in Jennings, was charged with driving while intoxicated. Subject was issued a summons.

 

Sunday, September 8

Clint Madison Stewart, 46, of Juban Park Avenue in Jennings, was charged with simple burglary.

 

Aaron Neil LeBlanc, 35, of Magnolia Drive in Jennings, was arrested on a warrant.

 

Justin L. Derise, 28, of North Church Street in Jennings, was charged with driving under suspension, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana.

 

Tuesday, September 10

Johnny Ray McZeal, 37, of South Street in Jennings, was charged with simple battery and resisting an officer. Subject was issued a summons.

 

Michael Lynn Crochet, 41, of North Craig Street in Jennings, was charged with driving while intoxicated, turning without required signal, disregarding stop/yield signs and improper control of vehicle. Subject was issued a summons.

 

Wednesday, September 11

Anita Legros, 49, of West Clara Street in Jennings, was charged with simple battery. Subject was issued a summons.

 

Thursday, September 12

Riley Ray Mouton, Jr., 30, of East 11th Street in Jennings, was charged with possession with intent to distribute a Schedule II narcotic.

 

Brett St. Germaine, 31, of North Cutting Avenue in Jennings, was charged with possession of a Schedule II narcotic.
