Dogs open district with momentum

If you work hard, good things will happen. The Jennings Bulldogs have worked hard since the beginning of the season and despite some tough luck, they never quit believing in themselves. They lost three games by a total of six points. That’s not an easy thing to digest. The Bulldogs could have buried their heads in the sand, but continued to work hard and improve with every week. They put it all together last Friday and just at the right time. District play begins this week.

Jennings faced Winnfield last week and came out of the gate swinging, throwing punches in all phases of the game. They scored on their opening offensive possession and put two more offensive touchdowns on the scoreboard during the night. Their other two scores came on special teams play, including a partially blocked punt that was returned for six points. An interception return for a score with about five minutes left on the clock sealed the deal.
